General Education Curriculum and Policies

Advice on how to meet TTU's general education requirements can be obtained from the student's academic advisor or from one of the advising centers on the TTU campus.

Any student needing to request a variation from the requirements should first consult the approved course exceptions and the directions for requesting substitutions.

Suggested changes in policy or curriculum should be directed to any member of the TTU General Education Committee.

TTU's general education requirements follow a program established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
