Engineering a Future (EAF) is an event for young women in the 5th and 6th grades who are interested in becoming problem solvers and creative thinkers. EAF will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Tennessee Tech University. This is a neat opportunity for young women to spend a day experiencing the ever-changing and exciting field of engineering. Professional engineers, as well as TTU engineering faculty members, will lead team activities. Engineering and Education students will escort the girls during activities.
COST: $12.00
The $12 fee covers activities, lunch, and a commemorative T-shirt. Financial Aid may be available for a small number of students: contact an EAF Co-Chair to discuss.
